H1: 404 — Page Error

Here you’ll include some text letting site visitors know there’s been a page error.

Depending on your brand voice, you can make this professional, light-hearted, or simply to the point.

Example —

We can’t seem to find the page you’re looking for.

Error Code: 404

Here are some helpful links to try instead:

  • Link 1: Key Page 1 (ex: a popular blog)

  • Link 2: Key Page 2 (ex: a popular or “entry” level service)

  • Link 3: Key Page 3 (ex: your about page)

H2: While you’re here, check out…

This is a great spot to add any freebies/downloads.

Consider adding a small set (1-3) of your most loved downloads or your most effective freebie.

Introduce it, and use “what’s in it for them” to describe its value. And make it easy for them to get it.

If you have a podcast or other media (Youtube, Substack, Medium, etc.), you may want to introduce that here too.

Your 404 page is an error page. So, you don’t want to overload visitors with options.

So, keep the text light and the helpful language high.
